Jarvan was a member of his brother Arnik's slaving band, the Mist Walkers. Both of them served under Captain Strapp. He had the brains where his brother had the brawn of the two. A tall, rangy weasel with brown eyes and dark brown fur, Jarvan usually wore a corsair's silks and carried a cutlass tucked into his belt and a willow cane.
