Keyla was the son of Rodney and Radella Streambattle. He lived with his parents and elder sister in a small holt just west of Marshank. His favored weapons were a sling and stones and a javelin. Rodney taught his son how to use a sling when he was just a cub.
He was born in the Summer of the Emerald Moon.
